Building a real AI product in public, from zero to proof.

Zero to Proof follows the founder of FounderLab building Renor: what was built, what broke, and what was actually proven. If you came from a video, this is where the work lives.

01The rules

Proof over promises.

Three rules decide what is published here, and what is not.

  1. Show the real thing

Real screens, real runs and real failures. No staged demos presented as finished features.

  2. Prove before claiming

A feature counts when it has been tested and works, not when it has been announced.

  3. Teach what was learned

Each build step is a lesson: how a problem was found, fixed and checked.

A feature counts when it has been tested and works, not when it has been announced.
Rule two of Zero to Proof

02The log

Every entry is dated and says where the work lives.

In the Renor app or on this website. Each one is tagged as something shipped, a fix, or work frozen and tested, so nothing unfinished reads as done.

  1. TestIn the Renor app

Renor’s first full release, frozen and tested

Five weeks of work in 1,013 commits, frozen as one release. It passed 4,876 unit tests and 88 of 88 browser acceptance checks, and replaces the September web preview.

  2. ShippedIn the Renor app

    Python runs inside Code AI

Real Python in the browser, sandboxed with no network, a time limit and a Stop button. Two independent reviews found 22 issues; all but one stated limit are fixed.

  3. ShippedIn the Renor app

    Renor listens, remembers and builds

Voice that waits for you to finish a thought, memory you control, tasks with real deadlines, and research that can end in a real build.

  4. ShippedIn the Renor app

    Live facts with sources

Ask for something current and Renor answers with the sources it read, in chat and in voice.

  5. FixIn the Renor app

    Founder QA pass

Fixes from a full founder QA pass across Chat, Code AI and the Website Builder.

  6. FixOn this website

    Truthful company front door

The website was rewritten to separate what exists from what is planned, and unsupported claims were removed.

  7. ShippedIn the Renor app

    First web preview

The first build people could open in the browser, still under the earlier name FounderLab AI.
